Rodney B. Walker has completed his internship at Capital Area Counseling in Austin, TX, where he served as an unlicensed therapist intern, he worked with adults, children, adolescents, and couples, and at the Travis County Sheriff's Office, providing support to the 17-year-old population. Rodney is currently a unlicensed therapist preparing to take the National Counselor Examination (NCE) to obtain his counseling license in Texas. He will bring empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to helping his future clients achieve their personal growth and well-being.

 

Rodney B. Walker is a dedicated mental health professional with a strong academic background and diverse experience. He graduated from Huston-Tillotson University in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and earned his Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Addiction Counseling from Walden University in 2026.

 

Rodney brings over 5 years of law enforcement experience, having served with the Travis County Sheriff's Office and as a Correctional Officer. His unique blend of counseling education and law enforcement experience informs his compassionate, client-centered approach to supporting individuals through life's challenges.
